Full Description

Earthwork features, probably relating to the medieval or post medieval settlement of Brompton Regis, visible on air photographs in fields surrounding the modern village. These features include parallel linear banks, possibly property boundaries at SS 9505 3138 and a field bank and ridge and furrow at SS 9508 3164. [1-3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4]
