Full Description

A small circular mound, measuring approximately 13 metres across, is visible on aerial photographs as an earthwork in a field north west of Kensall Cross, Twitchen. Centred at SS 7675 3062 on a gentle slope, the position is not typical for a prehistoric funerary monument, and its precise function is uncertain. It may be agricultural in origin.
