Full Description

A post-medieval field boundary is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the northeast of North Challacombe Farm. It is centred at SS 5902 4794 and measures approximately 235 metres long, running north to south. The boundary is approximately parallel to two existing boundaries and thus divides a larger field into two strip fields. It is not shown on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, and may represent part of the original enclosure of this area of land.
