Full Description

Six extractive pits of varying sizes of probable post-medieval date visible as earthworks on vertical aerial photographs. They range from quite a large quarry, some 40 metres by 15 metres to smaller pits less than 10 metres across. [1,2] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [3]
