Full Description

An old quarry is depicted and labelled on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 9252 4395. [1] The site is shown as woodland running across two field parcels on the Tithe Map for Wootton Courtenay. [2] The quarry is not labelled but the earthworks are shown on the 2021 MasterMap data. [3]
