Full Description
An oval earthwork is depicted on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 7439 4768, in the middle of a field. It is labelled "Old Quarry". [1] The feature is depicted but not labelled on the 2nd Edition map. [2] The feature is not shown on the Tithe Map, suggesting it was not in use at this time (although it may have still been present). [3] The earthwork is not shown on modern MasterMap data. [4]
