Full Description

A small quarry cut into the steep valley side. The exposed rock face is about 0.8 metres high and 5 metres wide with a possible area of further working immediately to the south. A spoil heap up to 0.8 metres high lies immediately below on the slope. A stone boundary is located 20 to 25 metres to the west and it is probable that the quarry was opened to proivde stone for this. [1]
