Full Description

The Tithe Map for Cutcombe depicts a small rectangular building within a small enclosure at SS 9520 3803. They are labelled 45, which the accompanying Apportionment describes as "Old Stowey: Court and Linhay", owned by Sir Thomas Buckler Lethbridge and occupied by William Dallyn. [1] The building is no longer depicted by the time the 1st EditionOrdnance Survey map was surveyed, although the enclosure still appears to be in place. [2] It appears that some parts of the original enclosure are still extant and featured on the 2018 MasterMap data for the site. [3]
