Full Description

The Tithe Map for Lynton and Lynmouth Parish depicts a small rectangular land parcel at SS 7108 4939. It is labelled 141 and is described as a garden in the accompanying Apportionment, owned by the Reverend Thomas Roe and occupied by Roger Broomham. [1] The 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey maps show the land parcel as subdivided into two sections. It is not clear whether they are merely enclosed or roofed. [2,3] Modern MasterMap data shows that the land parcel is still apparently extant, although the subdivision has been removed. [4]
