The site is shown as a clear area of land on the Lynton and Lynmouth Tithe Map. [1] The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map depicts and labels a gravel pit at SS 7236 4684. [2] There is no feature recorded at this location on modern MasterMap data. [3]
