Full Description

The Tithe Map for Parracombe shows a linear building at this location. It is not depicted as subdivided and only appears to stretch from c. SS 67055 44904 to SS 67068 44903. [1] By the time the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map was surveyed, the row appears to have been extended westwards and the building is now shown as three separate dwellings. This arrangement does not appear to change between the creation of this map and the modern MasterMap data. [2-4] A pleasant group of three cottages, probably early 19th Century, with gabled porches, and casement windows, though some are PVCu replacements. [5] The building is mentioned in the 2019 Conservation Area Appraisal for Parracombe. [6]
