Full Description

A guide post is marked on modern MasterMap data. [1] The signpost was visited as part of the Exmoor and West Somerset Signpost Survey Pilot in 2015. It has SCC (Somerset County Council) repeated on the four sides of a pyramid finial. The attached fingers read: HUNTSCOTT 3/4 LUCCOMBE 2 HORNER 2 WOOTTON COURTENAY 1/4 DUNSTER 4 1/4 TIVINGTON 1 1/2 MINEHEAD 4 1/2 PORLOCK 5 BROCKWELL 1/2 FORD 3/4 The post was made by Sheldon Wells. [2] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in February 2024. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [3]
