Full Description

The signpost was visited as part of the Exmoor and West Somerset Signpost Survey Pilot in 2015. It has SCC (Somerset County Council) repeated on the four sides of a pyramid finial. The attached fingers read: TIVINGTON 1/2 WOOTTON COURTENAY 2 TIMBERSCOMBE 3 3/4 PORLOCK 3 1/4 A39 MINEHEAD 2 3/4 A39. [1] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in February 2024. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [2]
