A post-medieval quarry was visible on the 1st and 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey mapping; this was annotated 'old quarry' indicating it had fallen out of use by the 20th Century. This was not visible on the 3rd Edition map, or on the 2014 MasterMap. [1-4]
