Full Description

A well defined prehistoric hut platform on the north of a dry gully on the west side of Cheriton Ridge. The platform is oval and measures 10.8 metres northwest-southeast by 9.2 metres northeast-southwest and is defined to the west by a scarp up to 0.9 metres high cut into the hillside, and to the west by a scarp 0.5 metres high. This is a platform for a Bronze Age round house and forms part of a larger Bronze Age settlement on the west side of Cheriton Ridge. [1]
