Full Description

Via Enns (formerly Pump Cottage) dates from the 18th century. It is rendered and has a double Roman tiled roof. Its windows are mainly iron framed casements with rectangular leaded lights. The cottage retains its former water pump within a small shelter with rustic timber supports. [1] The building is labelled "Viaenns" on the 2022 MasterMap data. [2] It is also shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [3] The cottage and pump shelter are mentioned in the 2017 Conservation Area Appraisal. [4] The heritage asset was assessed for inclusion on the Exmoor Local Heritage List in November 2022. It was decided to add the asset to the Local Heritage List. [5]
