Full Description
This building was a school, then an Anglican chapel, and is now a private house. [1] Bury School was built in 1890 and began to be used as an Anglican Chapel of Ease, which was turned into a house in 1980. [2] A school is marked on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map at SS 9443 2750. [3] The school is also depicted on the 2nd Edition map. [4] The main benefactor of Bury school was Lady Carnarvon, in the 1870s. [5]
