Full Description

A thin band of peat is visible on the southeast side of the lagoon at the mouth of Horner Water. The deposit seals fluvial deposits interpreted as being of recent, possibly post-medieval date. [1] Incorrect grid refrerence in source [1] reads SS 3919 4846, rather than SS 8919 4846. [2]
