Full Description
A group of earthworks are labelled 'Quarries' on the 6 inch 1906 2nd Edition Ordnance Survey map centred at SS 8782 2880. [1] 'Quarry (disused)' is shown on the 1973 Ordnance Survey map. [2] The quarries are also depicted and labelled on the 25 inch 1st Edition map. [3] One of the quarries is shown as an earthwork on 2018 MasterMap data; however, it is not labelled. [4]
