Full Description

SS 6578 4388. 'MS Combe Martin 5, Barnstaple 11' shown on os 6 inch 1905 Ordnance Survey map. [1] It is also marked on the 25 inch 1st Edition map, where Combe Martin is spelled "Combmartin". [1] The milestone does not appear on the six inch 1963 map. [3] The milestone is shown on the 2018 MasterMap data. [4] The feature may have been extant but not visble throughout the 20th Century, or reerected after the 1963 map was surveyed. [5]
