MDE20477 - Possible building remains southwest of Longstone Wells (Monument)

A small rectangular banked enclosure with possible building remains was noted on aerial photographs to the southwest of Longstone Wells. [1,2] A building was noted on air photos but the site was not accessible during a RCHME field investigation. [3] This record was enhanced as part of the National Record of the Historic Environment to Exmoor National Park Historic Environment Record data transfer project. [4] No buildings are shown in this location on the North Molton Tithe Map. [5] There are also no buildings shown on the 25 inch 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map. [6]
