Full Description

A second mine shaft at Withiel Hill Pit, centred on circa SS 99353517. The shaft has been in-filled and levelled by ploughing. [1] The shaft is depicted on the ordnance Survey first edition County Series map, annotated as 'Old Shaft'. [2]
