Full Description

A 19th Century cottage associated with the Wheal Eliza mine (MSO6802), consisting of a two roomed building of slate rubble with some brick and concrete dressings. A yard area lies to the west with a small building at the west end. [1-3] Will Little was the last man to live at Wheal Eliza cottage (and the last of the Little family line of shepherds), until it was replaced in 1952 by a new bungalow nearer to the main road. [4, 5] The site was inspected in 2010. [6]
